Casey Sheetz

I am interested in trauma studies reflected in religion. I have focused on historical trauma in the Old Testament and the Pseudepigrapha. I have especially emphasized the hybridity of western religions in the colonial and postcolonial periods. I am excited to explore more of the traits of modern religions that stem from early European, indigenous, and African religions.
