Grant Award for Dr. Julia Moore

Dr. Moore and Adreonna Bennett from Atkins Library received $34,000

Adreonna Bennett, Community Engagement Librarian and Archivist with Atkins Library Special Collections and University Archives, and Dr. Moore received an award for Community-Centered Archives Practice: Transforming Education, Archives, and Community History (CCAP TEACH), funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in connection with my project. The two will be working together to archive Black Presbyterian histories in the city in conjunction with Dr. Moore’s E2M project. Congratulations to both!
