Barbara Thiede at Leeds
Barbara Thiede delivered a lecture in a seminar series sponsored by the Centre for Religion and Public Life at the University of Leeds on October 9. The talk was titled “Not Fixing the Bible’s God: Reflections from a Rabbi and Biblical Scholar.” She also served on two panels as a respondent.
Eric Hoenes gives Kutten Lecture
Eric Hoenes gave the L.J. and Linda Kutten Religious Studies Lecture at the University of Nevada at Reno, hosted by the Department of Anthropology in the College of Liberal Arts. The title of Hoenes’ talk was “Guarded by Two Jaguars: A Catholic Parish Divided by Language and Faith”
